Hello Mr. Orozco, It came to my attention that you have reached out to our online staff stating vehicle is here with us and you did not receive a call. Please see copy of email I had sent you the other day in which I addressed that vehicle is not currently at our facility and to please reach out---- This is Chevrolet of Smithtown; we are reaching out to you due to recent emails through our online website. I had read your message about vehicle being at our dealership, however we searched the parking lot multiple times and your vehicle is not on the property. Also checked the night drop slip nothing is there and none of the advisors have checked in with you since your last visit for oil change. I know I had made you aware of an oil leak found at your last oil apt and had mentioned to give me a call when you are available to come in. I had also mentioned that I would squeeze you in due to vehicle being new, however I have yet to hear back from you until today; after you took your vehicle back last visit. Please email me back and let me know when we can get your vehicle in to address oil leak. Thank you

We leased a 2025 Equinox from the dealer. We were taken out of our existing lease 6 months early. On the 2nd day of having the car, the service engine light came on and the car spent the next 3 days in service. Service was unable to fix the problem but reset the computer turning off the service engine warning. Took the car back and within 2 days, the light was on again. Brought it back to the dealer where the car spent another 5 days with no fix. We were told this is a known problem with this car and that GM Engineering is working in a fox but it could take months to rectify. I spoke with the sales manager about trading out the car and was basically told no as this is now a GM issue and not a dealer issue. GM Customer Service in turn advised that they contacted the dealership who told them they would not do a trade out either. Needless to say, I have a less than satisfied opinion of the dealership and their customer service with the exception of Kathy in the service area who tried to accommodate us the best she can. At this time, we are still waiting in a fix from GM Engineering and we are living with the car’s issues.

First and foremost, Fran & Kathy have been nothing but helpful while everyone else involved with this lemon vehicle including General Motors have been a disgrace to customer care & support. The stealership has had my vehicle for numerous extended periods of time and no loaner has been provided nor any type of compensation from them or GM.
